Abstract
The clutch size of the Ground Parrot Pezoporns wallicus was found not to vary with latitude although birds in Tasmania did tend to have larger clutches than those on the mainland. A latitudinal gradient in the timing of the breeding season was noted, with eggs being laid in Queensland up to three months earlier than in Tasmania. The duration of the breeding season was similar in all localities.
