Abstract
The White-bellied Sea-Eagle Haliaeetus leucogaster has been reported to feed on various reptiles, such as aquatic snakes, freshwater turtles and lizards (both terrestrial and aquatic). However, there is no report of it feeding on the Water Monitor Varanus salvator, one of the world’s largest lizards. In this paper, we present an observation of a Sea-Eagle attacking a Water Monitor.
