Notes on the Lord Howe Currawong Strepera graculina crissaliz

Abstract

Observations on the Lord Howe Currawong Strepera graculina crissalis were made during several visits to Lord Howe Island over a number of years. This paper provides information on Currawong abundance, especially in the southern mountains, and breeding activity. The numbers of Currawongs and Woodhens Tricholimnas sylvestris in the areas visited are compared.
