Abstract

An alleged specimen of the Arctic Jaeger Stercorarius parasiticus from Jervis Bay, Australian Capital Territory, in March 1976 is here re-identified as a Long-tailed Jaeger S. longicaudus, and becomes the first record of the latter species for the ACT.
