Long-tailed, Not Arctic, Jaeger at Jervis Bay in 1976: First Record for the Australian Capital Territory (Coastal Section)

Abstract

An alleged specimen of the Arctic Jaeger Stercorarius parasiticus from Jervis Bay, Australian Capital Territory, in March 1976 is here re-identified as a Long-tailed Jaeger S. longicaudus, and becomes the first record of the latter species for the ACT.
