Double-brooding by the Brown Goshawk Accipiter fasciatus in the Northern Territory

Abstract

A pair of Brown Goshawks Accipiter fasciatus didimus nested successfully twice in the one breeding season in Darwin, Northern Territory, in 2009, raising two fledglings on each occasion. After a successful brood in 2010, a second attempt in that season failed.
