Description of a Swamp Harrier Circus approximans Nest in Buttongrass Moorland

Abstract

This note describes a Swamp Harrier Circus approximans nest found in Buttongrass Moorland in western Tasmania. Although Swamp Harrier nests are known from vegetation containing sedges and rushes, this is the first description of a nest from this vegetation type.
