Abstract
This note describes a prolonged aerial interaction between three Black Falcons Falco subniger, consisting of two juveniles in their post-fledging dependence period and an adult male, presumably their parent. This incident, along with previous fragmentary observations, supports the view that the Black Falcon’s post-fledging period will prove to be similar to that of other large, bird-eating falcons in Australia and elsewhere.
