Abstract
Torresian Crow C01vus orru predation of Cane Toads Bufo marinus without ill effect is described. The technique used by the Crows is consistent at two localities of the Northern Territory in the southern Top End and southern Kakadu National Park. Cane Toad carcasses evidently consumed in a similar fashion were also present at a third locality, in Nitmuluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park. Cultural transmission amongst Torresian Crows of the predation and feeding technique within two years of the arrival of the Toads is suggested.
