Further Notes on the Pink-Eared Duck

Abstract

This article deals with aspects of the calls of Pink-eared Ducks, Malacorhynchus membranaceus, and claims that they are, as yet, imperfectly interpreted. New features are brought forward in connection with the rotating displays, and copulation behaviour is described for the first time in Australian literature.
